Sign PDF
Draw or type your signature and place it on a PDF page. Stays in your browser.
Sign a PDF privately — no account, no upload
Most e-signature services require you to create an account and upload your contract to their cloud. That means a third party holds a copy of every NDA, offer letter, and agreement you sign. This tool keeps everything local — your signature is drawn on your device and embedded into the PDF using browser-native rendering, without any network request.
What you can sign
- Employment offer letters and joining forms
- Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and vendor contracts
- Rental agreements and lease documents
- Bank and insurance declarations, NACH mandates
- Academic documents — affidavits, undertakings, parent consent forms
Electronic signature vs digital signature — which do you need?
An electronic signature (what this tool creates) is a drawn or typed name image placed on the document. It is legally valid under the US E-SIGN Act, EU eIDAS Regulation, and India's IT Act 2000 for most everyday contracts. A digital signature uses a cryptographic certificate to prove identity and detect tampering — required for high-value transactions, court filings, and regulatory submissions. For corporate contracts and simple everyday use, an electronic signature is sufficient and widely accepted.
How to use this tool
- Upload the PDF you need to sign.
- Draw your signature in the signature pad, or type your name.
- Place the signature on the correct page and position.
- Click Sign & Download — the signed PDF is saved to your device.
Frequently asked questions
Is an electronic signature legally binding in India?
Yes. Section 5 of the Information Technology Act 2000 recognises electronic signatures as legally valid. For government filings, Aadhaar eSign or a DSC may be required.
Can I sign multiple pages?
Sign the first page, download, then re-upload the result and sign the next page. Repeat as needed.
Can I use an image of my handwritten signature instead of drawing?
Yes — if the tool supports image upload, drop a PNG/JPG of your signature. Ensure the background is transparent or white for a clean embed.
Will the recipient know the signature was added digitally?
The signature appears as a visual image on the page. Unlike a DSC, it doesn't carry a cryptographic certificate — sophisticated recipients can see it was stamped, not hand-signed.
Is my contract or document uploaded anywhere?
No. Signing happens entirely in your browser. Your document and signature image never leave your device.
